Tragic accident during morning walk
In a tragic incident in Mirzapur, three people who were out for their morning walk were crushed by a truck near Durgaji turn in the Chunar police station area. The victims, Lal Bahadur Verma, Shukalu Yadav, and Lallan Verma, residents of Usmanpur, were fatally injured when the speeding truck lost control and struck them. Despite the efforts of nearby residents to help and the arrival of the police, all three individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Police investigation and medical care
Following the accident, the police team from the Chunar police station arrived at the spot and coordinated with local residents to transport the injured to the Chunar Community Health Center. Tragically, two of the victims were declared dead by doctors at the hospital, while the third victim was in critical condition and had to be referred to the Varanasi Trauma Center. Despite receiving medical treatment, the third victim also unfortunately passed away during treatment in Varanasi.
Community in shock and police action
The sudden and tragic loss of three lives in the morning walk accident has left the community in Mirzapur in shock. The local police have initiated an investigation into the road accident and are working to identify the vehicle responsible with the help of CCTV footage.
