Struggles in the Industry and Misunderstandings
A few days ago, during the promotion of the web series ‘Panchayat’, Pankaj Jha opened up about his struggles and loss of work in the industry. He mentioned that he was initially finalized for a role in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ which was later given to Pankaj Tripathi. Furthermore, he criticized Pankaj Tripathi for exaggerating his days of struggle in the media, stating that glamorizing stealing Manoj Bajpayee’s slippers was not a true representation of the struggle. These comments sparked a response from Pankaj Tripathi.
Clarifying Misconceptions about Struggles
In response to Pankaj Jha’s comments, Pankaj Tripathi clarified that he never romanticized his struggles to gain sympathy or inspire others. He mentioned that while he did face hardships and had to work hard to establish a career in Mumbai, he also experienced moments of happiness. Tripathi emphasized that everyone’s journey is different, and while some may find inspiration in his story, others might not resonate with it. He expressed admiration for actors like Om Puri, Irrfan Khan, and Manoj Bajpayee, from whom he drew inspiration for his own journey.
Upcoming Projects and Positive Outlook
Pankaj Tripathi also mentioned that he is not affected by the comments made by Pankaj Jha, stating that he does not get hurt easily and the noise does not bother him. He shared that his focus remains on living his life and continuing to pursue his passion for acting. As he gears up for the release of ‘Mirzapur 3’ on 5th July, Pankaj Tripathi remains positive and looks forward to bringing his character to life once again on the screen.
