Tragic Accident in Pali Due to Rain and Strong Winds
A tragic incident unfolded in Pali on Thursday after a long spell of rain. In Bijapur of Bali tehsil, the balcony of a shop collapsed due to strong winds and rain, claiming the lives of two children who were sheltering underneath it to avoid the downpour. The victims were identified as 6-year-old Sania and 12-year-old Kamlesh, who were siblings. Three other individuals sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The market, situated on Rata Mahvirji Marg in Bijapur, saw a sudden burst of rain which prompted some people to seek shelter under the balcony of a shop. Unfortunately, the balcony gave way under the weight of the rain-soaked structure, resulting in the tragic demise of the two young children. The injured parties were immediately transported to Bali Hospital, where the doctors, unfortunately, declared the children dead upon arrival.
