Shocking Case of Loan Fraud and Threats by Husband
In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, a disturbing case has emerged where a man took a loan in his wife’s name after his dowry demands were not met. The man then proceeded to throw his wife out of the house and even threatened to marry someone else if she did not pay the loan installment. The victim, a newly married woman, bravely lodged a complaint at the women’s police station in Atarra police station area detailing the harassment she endured by her husband and in-laws. The demands for a bike and large sum of money were just the beginning of her ordeal.
Allegations of Molestation and Dowry Harassment
The victim disclosed that her father-in-law had also molested her and made inappropriate advances towards her. When she confided in her husband, he shifted them from Indore to Delhi, only for the harassment to escalate. The situation became so dire that her husband ultimately abandoned her, confiscating her important identification documents in the process. To her shock, she later found out that her husband had deceitfully taken a loan of Rs 70 thousand in her name, putting further financial strain on her.
