Fierce encounter between Delhi Police and miscreants, 'Goli' who fired indiscriminately in Tilak Nagar killed

The shooter who opened fire in Tilak Nagar, Delhi was killed by police in an encounter in the Bhalswa Dairy area late at night. Known as Ajay alias ‘Goli’, he was hit by several bullets and pronounced dead at the hospital. Ajay alias Goli was wanted by the Delhi Police for firing rounds in the Tilak Nagar area on May 6. He was identified as the shooter of Himanshu Bhau, a notorious gangster who had fled to Portugal.

Video footage of the encounter shows a car and a Scorpio colliding, with multiple police officers present at the scene. The shooters had fired over 15 bullets in Tilak Nagar on May 6, causing injuries due to broken glass but no fatalities. Police had previously arrested shooter Sunny Gurjar, who was in contact with the gangster abroad. Ketan, another accomplice, had brought two shooters on bikes during the incident.

The shooting occurred at a car showroom on the day BJP leader Vikas Tyagi was there to buy a car for his son’s birthday. Police responded quickly and surrounded the area, with senior officers present on the scene.
