Changing the Photo on Aadhaar Card
If you are unhappy with the photo on your Aadhaar card, you can easily change it by following a step-by-step process. Unfortunately, this service is not available online, so you will need to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to submit the required form. You can download the form from the UIDAI website to save time at the center. After filling out the form with the necessary information, a Aadhaar executive will verify your details through biometric verification and take a new photo, which will be updated on your Aadhaar card.
Fees and Process
It is important to note that updating the photo on your Aadhaar card is not a free service. You will be required to pay a fee of Rs 100, plus applicable GST charges. Once the process is complete, you will receive a slip and a unique request number (URN) which can be used to track the status of your updated Aadhaar card on the official website. You can then visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to get a printed copy of your updated Aadhaar card, or download an e-Aadhaar copy from the UIDAI website.
