In a tragic road accident in UP’s Maharajganj, two people were killed and six others were badly injured. The incident occurred when a pickup van overturned near Babhnauli Jungle village in Paniara of the district. The group of people involved in the accident were on their way to Siddharth Nagar to work in a mango orchard late Friday night when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Paniara police station in-charge Nirbhay Kumar Singh identified the deceased as Riyasat Ali (45) and Piyush Yadav (22) who were residents of Deoria. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem while the six injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur. This tragic incident highlights the dangers of road accidents and the importance of driving safely and responsibly.

Another Fatal Accident in Prayagraj

Just four days prior to the incident in Maharajganj, another fatal road accident occurred in Prayagraj where five people lost their lives. A family from Jaunpur was on their way back to Saraimraj in Prayagraj after attending a wedding when the accident took place. All five family members were traveling on the same bike when a speeding truck hit them from behind, resulting in their tragic deaths.

The collision was so severe that all the family members died on the spot. This devastating incident serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of road accidents and the need for vigilance while traveling on the roads.
