AAP and Swati Maliwal face to face in Kejriwal's house assault case, know what has happened so far in the case

Swati Maliwal, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, alleged that she was assaulted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PS Vibhav Kumar on May 13 at the CM’s residence. However, the Aam Aadmi Party has completely denied these allegations and accused Maliwal of being a pawn of the BJP, calling it a conspiracy against Kejriwal. Delhi Minister Atishi stated that Maliwal was sent to Kejriwal’s house with the intention of making false allegations against him.

In response to the Aam Aadmi Party’s accusations, Maliwal posted on social media, declaring that she would fight for herself like she has fought for women across the country. She removed a photo of Kejriwal behind bars from her account and expressed concerns that the CCTV footage at the CM’s residence might be tampered with. Delhi Police and a forensic team recreated the crime scene at the CM’s residence, with Maliwal assisting in providing details of the events that occurred on May 13.

Vibhav Kumar, the accused, filed a complaint against Swati Maliwal with Delhi Police, alleging that she forcibly entered the CM’s residence and threatened the security by misbehaving with the security personnel. The round of allegations and counter-allegations between the Aam Aadmi Party and Maliwal continued, with both sides presenting their version of events. Despite Maliwal’s initial complaint of assault, she now finds herself distanced from her own party and accused of colluding with the BJP to target Kejriwal. The situation remains contentious between the involved parties as they navigate the aftermath of the alleged incident.. Read More Here
