PM Kisan Yojana is a scheme by the Central Government to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The 16th payment was sent to farmers’ accounts in February 2024, and they are now awaiting the 17th payment.
In order to receive the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana, farmers must complete the KYC process. This is a precautionary measure taken by the government to prevent fraud in the scheme. Farmers can complete the KYC process from home or by visiting a Common Service Center with the help of an OTP.
