Gold price falls today, check the price of 22 carat gold in your city on 24 May

The Gold Price in India on May 23 remained stable at around Rs 74,000 for 10 grams, with 24 carat gold priced at Rs 74,500 and 22 carat gold at Rs 68,290. In contrast, the silver market saw a decrease in prices, reaching Rs 95,900 per kg. Across various cities in India, the price of 22 carat gold ranged from Rs 6,829 to Rs 6,859 per gram, while 24 carat gold was priced between Rs 7,450 to Rs 7,483 per gram.

In Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Thane, Surat, Pune, and Nagpur, the prices for 22 carat gold were consistent at Rs 6,829 per gram, while 24 carat gold was stable at Rs 7,450 per gram. The purity of gold varies depending on the carat, with 24 carat gold being 99.9% pure, 23 carat gold at 95.6%, 22 carat gold at 91.6%, and so on, with lower carats indicating stronger gold.

Hallmarked gold prices do not differ from normal gold prices but offer the assurance of purity through hallmarking, although there are limitations in the availability of essay centers.
